Woodside Remodel

The four-color scheme of eggplant, olive, gold and burnt orange is carried out in the Tufenkian area rug, leather ottomans on casters, and the upholstery fabrics. The focal point in the room is the fireplace, so we built out the entire wall to give it more significance, and faced the surface with Venetian plaster. We added a marble floor hearth as well as an interior surround of the firebox opening. An irregular solid plank mantle was cut from a tree harvested on the property.
